Mathematics Services and Resources

In the 30+ years working in mathematics education, Charlotte Hartman has demonstrated the ability to be an effective communicator, professional developer, and productive problem solver.  She is passionate about mathematics education and has been and continues to be actively involved in all aspects of the development and implementation of mathematics standards and related assessments.  During these years, she has been extremely successful in helping teachers and administrators at all levels transform their practices from a focus on teaching to one centered on student learning.

Her work with administrators has helped them increase their understanding of mathematics, have a better understanding of the evaluation and learning processes, and to subsequently enhance their conversations with teachers about their practices.

Her collaborative style of leadership complements and supports professional learning communities.  She is a change-agent and systems thinker who can provide leadership and assistance in transforming mathematics education and improve student achievement.

Over the years, Charlotte has provided consultant services to more than 30 school districts and multiple Education Service Districts.
